St. Finbarr Parish

               We’re Re-opening!!!

I am delighted to say that St. Finbarr is re-opening for public Mass starting Monday May 18th!  We’ll resume our regular schedule of daily Mass on M-T-W&F at 9:00, followed by confession from 9:30 ‘til 10:00.  Our weekend schedule will resume on Saturday the 23rd with confession from 3:00 to 4:00, followed by Mass in English at 4:30 and Mass on Sunday at 8:00 in Spanish and 10:00 in English.  The Bishop’s dispensation from the Sunday obligation continues through June 28th, which means those at higher risk can stay home or chose to come to a less well-attended weekday Mass rather than a more crowded weekend Mass.  Live streaming of Masses will continue through June 28.

All non-liturgical activities are still suspended.

When you come to Church, please observe the following precautions:

  • Wear a face mask
  • Provide your own hand sanitizer
  • Observe proper social distancing (at least 6 feet separation from non-relatives)
  • Follow all posted notices in the church
  • Communion in the hand only
  • Bathrooms are for emergency use only
  • Leave nothing behind
  • Touch as few surfaces as possible
  • No handholding during the Our Father or touching during the sign of peace

Most importantly:  If you pose a risk to others or they do to you, for heaven’s sake stay home!!

I am so looking forward to seeing you all at Mass!  God bless and keep us all!

Fr. Leo
